About ALDI

ALDI is one of the largest grocery retailers in the world, operating more than 2,300 stores across the United States and backed by a network of regional distribution centers that keep every one of those stores stocked. ALDI built its reputation on a lean, no-frills operating model — a smaller assortment, efficient shelf-ready packaging, and a distribution network engineered to move product from dock to store shelf with minimal waste and minimal delay. That same lean philosophy shapes life inside our warehouses: smaller, more capable teams, real cross-training instead of narrow one-task roles, and wages built to attract and keep the best warehouse talent in the region.

What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"I am the first checkpoint for everything coming into the building. I check in trailers, verify counts against the purchase order, and flag anything damaged before it ever gets put away. It is detail-focused work and I like that ALDI trusts receiving associates to catch problems early instead of letting them become someone else's issue down the line." - Current Receiving Associate, Moreno Valley, CA.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Receiving Associate, you check in inbound trailers and verify delivered product against purchase orders before it moves into storage.

• Inbound Trailer Check-In: Verify each inbound trailer's bill of lading against the scheduled delivery appointment, and unload product in a sequence that keeps the receiving dock moving without bottlenecking incoming traffic.
• Purchase Order Verification: Count and scan received cases against the purchase order quantity, documenting any overage, shortage, or damaged product before it is put away into storage.
• Quality & Damage Inspection: Inspect incoming product for damage, temperature abuse, or expiration date issues, and quarantine any flagged product according to ALDI's quality hold procedure rather than allowing it into active inventory.

Benefits & Perks

ALDI Receiving Associates earn a competitive hourly wage, plus paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
